Always happy to see family, we took advantage of a few days off and drove over (in car only) to see daughter Mary and her family in Las Vegas. We stayed in rental cabin at Thousand Trails which was much more cost effective than driving rig over... wonderful to see them as always. Jason had never been there before so we walked our legs off visiting the various "shows" and hotels. The grandkids loved it and we loved seeing them. This is picture from Sam's Town where they have a waterfall show in afternoon.
The area around Lancaster County in PA is some of the prettiest farm country we have ever seen! These Amish farmers really know how to show how lovely farming can really be.. hard work no doubt, but this area is delightful to see. We took a few rides through here just for the pleasure of seeing such lovely country. Have to say spring is very pretty here too. Similiar to the west coast but with a larger variety of trees and plants... Out west there are much more evergreens where out here the trees are most decidous and the plants are all flowering too.. lovely! We call it a day though tomorrow and head west to the Pittsburgh area where we have not been before so looking forward to some new territory!
